SURSUM CORDA'S FIFTH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT: Something Old, Something New

In celebration of the completion of our fifth season, we present a "singer's choice" program, featuring highlights selected by our singers of favorites from the past five years, plus some exciting new works, including the premiere of a new composition by a rising star, composer DAVID BLOOM, commissioned for this anniversary season!

We welcome new members of Sursum Corda's artistic roster:

 Angel Baker, soprano, is a Birmingham-Southern College graduate and earned her MM degree from Boston Conservatory, and worked for many years developing educational curricula for the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Brian Keith Denton, tenor, is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he majored in music, and is currently with American Behavioral Centers. He sings in the Opera Birmingham Chorus and at Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham.

Drew Watson, tenor, is a graduate of Columbia University and studied voice at the Julliard School. For several years he was Production Manager for Opera Birmingham, and sings at Cathedral Church of the Advent and the Opera Birmingham Chorus.
